3dmark which one?
which 3d mark test do guys usually run on your machines? which type and build? This is the first time i will have run a test on my computer. Since i finally have a good graphics card i am just wanting to see what it will do. Any tips or suggestions as to what test and to do to get a good score is greatly appreciated. thanks

I run all of the tests at the default settings with the newest version of 3dmark2001SE - 1024x768, compressed textures, etc. just as the defaults are... and don't worry about getting a good score! A good score could mean less than nothing if the tweaks do nothing but enhance 3dmark performance - the point of having a good videocard is not so you can benchmark it, but so you can enjoy your games more
 Hope no-one here has forgotten that ... The only thing that I would really call required as far as tweaking would be to make sure that Vsync is off... |

and make sure you get the patch to upgrade to build 330 for dx9 compatability...

oh i am doing this all in fun and just wanting to learn more. i am tickled to death with what my card does for my games. i am not doing this for bragging rights. i am just wanting to tweak around with my system and have some fun
 i am getting build 330 |
