bsod problem

recently switched from fx5200 to x800xt and from 2x256 ram to 2x512. After that started BSOD problems . I cant play games normaly anymore . Almost every 2nd game i install have this problem . Its dark blue screen with no error in it with locked sound . Last 3 games i installed was BF2,f.e.a.r. demo , fifa2006 they all have same problem >> dark blue screen with nothing in it . This bsod can apear in minutes after starting games or after hours of playing . And warcraft3 i used to play with my old hardware now crashes every ~20 minutes with fatal error 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:6F66B3B1 .Its my new video card or memory problem because with old ones i never had bsod. I ran memtest86 for 12 hours no errors , so my ram is clean . Reinstalled windows , tried different drivers for video nothing helped my temps is not high i think cpu ~56c gpu ~67 any ideas why this happens? Also rarely ~1 time a week i can have bsod when browsing internet or watching movies.

AthlonXP 2700@3200
2x512 geil value ddr400

make sure your GPU fan is plugged in and spinning properly

also run memtest86+ for a few hours to test the RAM for errors

My fan is ok. GPU temp never goes higher 70c . As for memory ran memtest 3 times for ~12 hours each , no errors

run ATI TOOL for your gfx card. it stresses out only the card. if it gives you a BSoD, then you'll know it's the card.

but what kind of PSU do you have? how many watts, how many amps on the 12v rail. if it's underpowering your rig, that could also be a factor as to why this is happening.

Did you run drivercleaner before installing the new videocard ? If not then you should remove your current driver then run drivercleaner for Nvidia and ATI and reinstall the card . Sometimes to completely get rid of problem when passing from Nvidia to ATI ( or vice-versa ) a good ol format is the solution .

I also noted that your CPU is overclocked, just try to run it at the regular core clock and see if that help .
