??? New CPU heatsink makes 80% heat breakthrough

Just saw this arctical and I had a question about combning aluminum and copper.

They used to wire houses with aluminum a few decades ago when copper prices had gone sky high. Then copper dropped and became fasionable again. I heard of people having problems with copper components (switch terminals, outlets etc.) when connecting them to aluminum wire in these older houses. Apparently there was a chemical reaction between the two metals. Isn't this gonna happen with these combo heatsinks? Sounds like a receipe for disastor.

I'm not a chemical expert so perhaps I'm missing something here.

Only problem if curent is passed thru them I belive, where one would act as cathode and other as a anode(electrolysis) and would need to be in a solution, where by the aluminuim would slowy migrate across and cover the copper(anodizing)(more problem if you using them for water cooling) for air cooling there is no probs as far as I know, I haven't noticed any probs with my AX7 heatsink which has copper insert....

of course this is all from vague memory of studing chemistry, so peeps feel free to correct if i missed or messed something
