exclamation

As amazing as it may sound there is a driver for Windows 98. It comes from Creative, but it requires a kludge. I got the Creative 2K/XP driver to work with Windows 98SE by manually installing it (Have Disc, etc) and everytime Windows asked for a file, I said "skip...skip...skip".

What resulted was a perfectly functional soundcard and basic controls. I guess some of the advanced features aren't available, but it doesn't matter to my application. Driver version was 5.12.01.314

YMMV
