LCD Monitors, which is best?

Im looking to buy a lcd monitor for gaming/watching movies/etc...

these are the two i found and im trying to decide which is best for what i need it for...

ViewSonic VP191B Black 19" 8ms (gray-to-gray); 20ms (black-white-black, typ) LCD Monitor - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116277

(perrty good ms, higher contrast ratio, higher refresh rates, little more money)

or

ViewSonic VX924 Black/Silver 19" 4ms (gray-to-gray); 5ms (typ) LCD Monitor - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116355

(amazing ms, lower contrast ratio, lower refresh rates, less money)

is 'ms' more important than contrast ratio and refresh rates?
cause one is 800:1 and the other is 550:1, seems a big difference.

System Specs

Contrast ratio is very important. It has to do with the intensity of light that is displayed between very bright white, and very dark blacks. Also, the higher the ratio the better the color that is displayed.

The VP191 is a 24bit true color monitor, and displays over 16.7 million colors. With the VX924 the idea was to reduce the response time. To do so the monitor only displays 18bits, or 16.2 million colors. Less colors to display, less response time. One thing I've noticed is that when you reduce the amount of colors that are displayed that the contrast ratio also drops. Which makes sense since there are less color range to draw on.

Take it from me, get the VP191. I love it. I've used both the VX924 and VP171, and when compared to the VP191.. hell.. there is no comparision.
