Does your VGA cable screw into the monitor and video card? The easiest thing to do would be to replace the cable. If your cable screws into the monitor, do this as a test: try using the end that goes into your video card. If it still makes the clicking sound when you alter the angle of the connector on the monitor side (as before) then you'd know for sure if it was the cable, and not the connector on the monitor (otherwise it'd stop). Then it would just be a matter of replacing the cable.
However, if it does stop clicking it's a whole 'nother matter as it's most likely that the connector itself is loose. Either the solder that holds the actual connector in place onto the PCB inside the monitor has come apart, or if it's one sold PCB that has both the monitor connector and power connector on it, then it could be that the power connectors solder has come loose (or the board itself), and any movement on that PCB is making the power kick in and out. In either case you will need someone to fix it for you (DO NOT OPEN THE MONITOR CASING.. you would most likely fry yourself). If it's still under warranty (as you say) then it's just a matter of sending in for RMA.
Try the other end of the vga cable first though. It's faster, and easier to replace than it is to get, and send in an RMA request.
