Graphic Card Question
Someone gave me an old pc, and I wanted to know what would be better to put in it. Either a ATI Radeon 7000, or GeForce 5200. This pc will only be used for downloading, and occasional cs 1.6(for guests) Thats it.

Cards you already have, I presume, otherwise it's a very poor choice - OLD or WEAK.
The Radeon 7000 is a very dated card - DirectX7 hardware at best, maybe even less.
The Geforce 5200 is Directx9, but too weak to make good on the promise of DX9 feature eyecandy.
I'd say it wins hands down over a Radeon 7000 though

i would look for a used g4 ti4800se or one of the last g4s because it will cost about as much as a 5200 and will kick its ass.later
if you are choosing from cards you already have go with the 5200 but i would sell both cards and get a g4
