Noisy VGA Fan...
I just bought a X800 XT HIS IceQ II and it runs great but there is one problem... The fan on mine rattles and since I just bought this card today, I was wondering if I should return it to the shop and pick up another one or if I should try to repair it... What you all think?

They are supposed to be near silent. I would exchange it. if you try to repair it, it'll probably void the warranty.

As a side note, I pulled the puny heatsink fan out of my pentium 166 server, and applied some WD40 to it. I was amazed at the difference it made in the sound... I'm going to try the same thing to one of my newer fans to see if it will have a similar effect.

You could check out wd40.com
It's a general oil/lubricator, can be sprayed out of a tube to direct onto small things.
