My motherboard is MSI 865PE Neo2-FIS2R. I was going to get new Mobo and AMD A64 but I decide to save my money and stick with my mobo because it is good enough and can upgrade to any pentium 3.4. My friend said that P3.4 is faster than 3400+ A64 for gaming, is that true?
My question is what the hell the different between 3.4E (precott) and 3.4EE (extreme Edition). Which is better for gaming? And Why?
I have PIV 2.5 Ghz and want to upgrade to 3.4. I'm trying to decide which is better 3.4E or 3.2EE.
P4 does not beat an athlon64 for gaming. And for you, the 3.4e will be fine. The main difference with the ee's are the cache sizes I believe, but the price jump is not worth it.
