LCD monitors and magnetism......

Are LCD/TFT/plasma or otherwise flatscreen monitors susceptable to magnetic influences like CRT's are?

My guess is no, but I'd like to be sure. We've been waiting until these types of monitors matured a bit before getting one. We figure they are just about up to par now and were wondering if magnets affect them.

Thanks,

No, it does not.

I used to have an LCD, but replaced it with a 19" NEC CRT...Now im thinking about joining the LCD/TFT ranks again with a 2001FP...everyone says such great things about them. The only thing holding me back right now is the price, eeeek!
