Motherboard help

Ok, some of you may remember the problems with my old motherboard (the shitty vaio one, with locked bios, etc etc). It's now my brother's, and he's looking at replacing it. He doesnt want to go overboard on anything, so the max he wants to spend is around $$100 for both the mobo and case (he needs a new one of them too, since the vaio case is...well...shite)

He needs a socket A AMD (Thoroughbred) board, with onboard audio, and LAN, but other than that, it's up for grabs. A major brand would be preferred (asus, gigabyte), that has nice bios features (OC abilities, etc).

On the case, he doesnt want to pay much, as long as it has decent construction, and a decent power supply (shouldnt matter too much, as right now hes running the comp off of a 268.9W psu)

Here's what we've looked at so far:

Motherboard:

ASUS "A7V8X-X" KT400 Chipset Motherboard

It's got alot of good fearures. VIA Chipset and so on. ASUS is good for overclocking too.

Cases:

That is a good choice, I also ordered a Aspire case (Aspire X-Gamer).

Other choice:

POWMAX
Aluminum Mid-Tower Case with X-Window, 400w Power Supply
