onboard sound or...?

My new mobo (asus p4p800-e) has very good onboard sound from what i've heard. Now, i dont know whether or not I should use the onboard sound, or use my creative audigy gamer. which one would provide better performance when turning up sound options in games?

Audigy..

Audigy is more compatible as well. I've never liked the onboard sound on my P4P800 Deluxe. Besides... It's an Audigy

if you already have the audigy card - keep it
you may also be able to use your onboard sound for something
