Vibration sound coming front front of PC

hey, i just got a new Lanfire Mid ATX case, and i moved all the parts into it, and its running very well. The only problem is i hear a vibrating sound coming from the front of the case, i cant figure out if its at the top or the bottom, but its either something is vibrating making the sound, or it might be my harddrive making this noise. The noise seems to get louder while the hd works harder, but ive never heard it before. They are not extremely loud, i can barly hear it, if i put myear up to the case, i can hear it a lot better, so i thought maybe its vibration. Any tests i can do to make sureits not my harddrive? Ill go into the case tomorrow and try to tighten all the screws ect to see if its vibration, i may even disable all the case fans so maybe that will cut down on vibration, so i can tell if its the harddrive. Any suggestions? Thanks guys

EDIT: ok well i noticed that the noise picks up when im defragmenting, which is has been for as long as i can remember, although, it is louder than it was in the old case. It doesnt sound like crashing and banging, just a steady, off and on computing sound. Do you think becusae of my new case i can hear it better? Should i be concerned about the noise? Its only when the hd is working hard, when im just sitting idle, or doing something like talking on these forums, i hear nothing, but defragging right now, its a steady sound.

Its probably the HDD vibrating in the case and the new case will have diferent harmonics to your old one.

You could try some of those noise reducing gromet thingies. They look like little washers you put between the HDD and the case - you could even try a bit of foam.

doubt its the HDD failing. They generally dont give you much warning other than the occasional clunk or bang. Which if they do then you can usually get the data backed up before it goes.
