hi

can anyone tell me how to make a video cd in nero or any other cd burning software

Open the Nero wizard and it walks you through it.

I must admit I have never tried it to see if it works but the options are there.

I'd suggest you get more info beforehand. From what I tried out, seems you have to convert the mpg or avi file to the proper format before you procede with the dump. Be sure to use the VCD or SVCD resolution. Do a search on google for "DIVX to SVCD" or "VCD". You should be able to get all you need. I was capable of making one SVCD, but the image quality wasnt that nice so I decided to not make anymore.
