Default Post Artec AM12S SCSI Scanner

Hi guys

I have an Artec AM12S SCSI scanner here and I have a problem. Every time it works, it says it wants to install new hardware. Loads of times. I think this is a driver problem, so if anyone can shed any light on this matter, please come back to me asap.

Just tried it again and it added itself to the Device Manager about 12 times. You cannot remove these while the scanner is still on. So it turned it off, removed all of the devices apart from one, and rebooted. Turned the scanner on again and it added itself 12 times yet again. Seeing as this is a work scanner for scanning images for large signs and vehicle livery, it needs to be sorted pretty quickly.

Is that the version?

May be worth updating the SCSI card drivers as well.

PS. what windows version ?
some say that putting the WinME versions of SCSSISCAN.SYS and SCSIMAP.SYS onto Win98 can help with some obscure problems.
