HyperMedia DVD-Rs?
How are they? I'm planning to pick up an LG DVD Writer and one of the enticing things which draw me to purchasing a DVD writer is the "cheap" DVD-Rs HyperMedia is providing. Anybody got experience with them?
I use a lot of CD-Rs and they're pretty much the same to me (Yes, even no-name brands work fine for me) DVD-Rs contain more and I don't want to be wasting large amounts of storage on crappy DVD-Rs. I read some other forums and they've gave mixed reviews (some faulty ones exist) But once they're burned they're good.

The dye is important and I'd say quality is extremely important. Kakarot gave me some Philips DVD + R and they all pretty much screwed up. I bought some genuine Ritek and they're working great so far.

Take a look here.
They have a pretty comprehensive list of media so you should be able to find what youre looking for.

Nice site. LOL There's a comment from a person who bought it from the same store I was gonna buy it from. www.pccyber.ca . That person had no problems. Hmmm~ I might just pick them up for "test" burn purposes. $30 CAD for 25~ Can't go wrong.

I would agree with that - I bought some really, really cheap Ritek media - they had been rebranded as something else but you could just make out the Ritek label underneath and they had a Ritek media code.
Top notch disks and they work in everything I've tried them in.
