Low FPS
Could my low fps in certain games be directly related to the type of monitor i have, i have a 15" flat panel LCD. Most gamers use a CRT monitor

No, the only thing that would be affected by the monitor is how you percieve the image, such as ghosting\streaking. The monitor that I have (Hitachi) has a low response time, so there is no "ghosting". Maybe you should try posting in the NVidea graphics card forum.
