I have used one of these, its trash, AMDs stock (On a 2200+) HS is better.

You could only practically use that in a desktop system rather than a tower.
Over half a kilo with no fans on it

Seen it a while ago, looks pretty neat and like its capable of cooling well - I guess not.

what happens is, the bottom gets hot but the top stays cool. Only half or a quater of it it acctually used. When you have a fan blowing down on it it cools down the top and bottom and the air is acctually hitting the part where most of the heat is sourcing from so it will disperse it better.
I dont quite know how to explain it, but it doesnt work in practice, or in theory. |

not to mention after a while im sure the weight of the thing will damage the cpu socket, rendering the motherboard useless
