Networking, HELP!!!!
Didn't know where else to post this one......
I have been having a little problem with my two computers running XP and both connected to my DSL/Cable Router. A few months back I successfully configured the two computers to network togher without screwing up the Cable Modem connection.
Since, I have rebuilt my computer and now I don't remember what I am missing. Now everytime I go into my computer and try to access the Network Places -> View Workgroup Computers, It tells me "Mshome is not accessible, You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The network path was not found."
This confuses me, I have logged in under administrator and I still cannot get anywhere with it. Can someone tell me what the hell I am missing? I want to monitor the downloaded files on my other half's computer, that way I can clear out his temp files, downloads and run Diskeeper on his drives. What am I missing? Everything on the other system is configured to allow connections. At least from what I can see. It has to be the way this system is configured.
PLEASE HELP!
