Little help - uninstalling

Lately I've been having problems uninstalling programs. I often get an error message that it can't find the following module:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Engine\6\Intel 32\ctor.dll
but it's exactly where they say it is!
i even have an identical one in
C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Engine\6\Intel 32\6\Intel 32\ctor.dll
This is starting to annoy me. Any advice? Is this an installshield problem?

the double entry:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Engine\6\Intel 32\6\Intel 32\ctor.dll
may have actually been the prob, not sure though. Guess I'll see the next time I try to uninstall something...
