Get Rid of Virtual Drives

Hi there, as my topic says, i was wondering how the heck i get rid of virtual drives that software leaves behind?? i had daemon tools installed, but when i uninstalled it, it left behind the drive!! and the same just happend with alchohol 120% after uninstalling, and upgrading to the newest version, does any one know how to get rid of them>?? and i am looking for another solution other than disabling in system devices, thanks alot everyone!!

My guess is that they should have been turned off before uninstalling the programs that created them.

i have disabled them in control panel, and tried reinstalling, and then uninstalling, but that doesnt get rid of them,..,. well, disabling them does, but, i want to actully get rid of them! is there some where in the registry that holds info on drives?? there has to be a way to do this...

there's a way to do that in registry but i like you to try this link 1st...

that should be good for both d-tools and the alchohol
