exclamation Max voltage Northwood 2.4

Can somebody help me with the max voltage value on a ASUS P4C800 mobo with a P4 Northwood 533 FSB
withhout damaging the CPU ?, whats your experiense with it , I have setting it now on 1.775 volt.

And second the AGP voltage its set now on 2.75 volt wath is the max the agp can have its an 5600/TD
Asus graphic card?.
And what happend when i overvolt the CPU and The Graphic Card?

Hmm. 1.775V for the CPU sounds pretty high. I'm surprised your computer didn't crash. I have my 2.4GHZ 533 FSB overclocked to 2.81GHZ with a voltage of 1.575.

As for AGP, increasing the voltage won't help you in overclocking your card.

No it my system do do crach and the fulload gives a temp. of 44 degrees Celsius, no load 38 degrees Celsius.

I too have the P4 2.4B processor. I can get a max stable overclock at 3.1ghz with a voltage setting of 1.550 volts, with no stablility issues at all. I would recommend keeping the voltage lower than what you have it set at now, there is a usefull guide somewhere on these boards someone posted on max voltages, I will post the link after I go look for it.
