Best memory available today!!

This new Mushkin PC3500 Level 2 mem is totally insane. I'm currently at 230 fsb at 5/2/2/2 and I'm over 3800 in Sandra. My Corsair PC3700 could not break 3500 in Sandra running at 245MHz. The timings seem to make a much bigger difference, (I should of listened to Zardon on that one) as my sys is much-much faster overall. If you are looking for the absolute best memory money can buy, look no further. It's good to see Mushkin still got it.

Look at the timings, they are crap. Most people would prefrer ram that can run with the lowest timings at its rated speed. Mushkin ram can do it, OCZ definatly can't.

do not know what you consider 'crap' timings & since i am new to ddr i can not authoritively speak on this but ocz at 250 fsb cas 2.5-3-3-7 seems superior to 230 fsb at 5/2/2/2. or am i missing something?

Maybe, but I would still like it alot better if it could hit 2-2-2-5 like the mushkin does. I think the better timings will more than make up for the lower MHz speed.

I'm running my ram as fast as my mobo will let if go (It won't let me take the 6 value down to 5) and I get better performance than my friend who has his ram at 153MHz with 3-3-5-9 timings even though my ram is only at 146MHz, but different people like things different ways, he likes his ram at the higher MHz and I like the lower timings. If you want MHz, then I guess it doesn't matter to you.

I ran the Corsair PC3700xms at 245 with 8/4/4/3 timings and I will keep my new 233 at 5/2/2/2 any day. I've learned that the low timings really do make the most difference. Maybe for Intel the PC3700 will work better, but it's hard to find an AMD board that can do 250fsb. I also haven't had any stability probs yet at 2.7v so I will keep pushing it higher. This is by far the best memory I have used, although I do not doubt there is better.
