Upgrade Phase IV: Kitty 'Puter time!
I just called me tiny little local pc shop and by the strangest of strange coincidences they actually have this case in stock for about $15 cheaper than the link and in orange....
...I think I've found my daughter's new computer case.
Funny thing? My cats have the same tabby coloration in orange!
I think I shall name him "Mr.Kitty"!

Next hurdles...
...the wife, a cheap PS, and a cheap HD. (I want her to at least have a 20Gb in there rather than the 1.5Gb she has now... )

Yup, a black & white one at the local shop I recall seeing.
No ebay for a HD or PS for me! Newegg has a 7200RPM 30Gb for $52 right now with free shipping that I'm seriously considering, but I just don't like their prices on case fans and I really need to stock up on a few this order so I'm probably gonna shop around pricewatch a bit later.

I don't DO rebates anymore! Too aggravating and only about 20% effective from my experience, I want the whole price upfront.
But I agree the HD is steep, but PW is down for me right now and besides the wife don't go to work for a couple more hours and I HATE shopping when she's at home. (Even if she knows, it still just drives her buggy to see me pricing computer stuff. )

It's actually gonna be more than I planned on spending on it, but I think it'll really be worth it for her in the long run. I figure the Kitty should carry her thru at LEAST kindergarten, and it's awful cute...

Dig. take a look at the YS Tech case fans Newegg has for $7.00 each very good air flow w/ low db.
I've seen the Penquin version of these cases as well, always felt like getting one to put Linux on for some strange reason.

SEVEN AMERICAN DOLLARS FOR A FAN?!?!
What, do I have "Unlimited Hardware Budget" stamped on me head in flourescent letters or something?!?
Seven dollars for a fan!
The last time I stocked up on fans I got a dozen dual ball-bearing 80mm fans that had some great air flow with little noise for $1.50 each!
I'm CHEAP, really cheap when it comes to the little stuff that I tend to use a lot of.
I was thinking of getting lucky somewhere and finding a bunch of decent led fans for under $3...I'm gonna start looking.

You think $1.50 is a good deal? How about case of these (50) for free? Only thing is they need connectors; picked them up at my old employer.
