It has to have the following things

1)sweat proof, or ear pieces that do NOT touch the ears, or have in the original packaging waterproof covers that are easily removed, washed and put back in place.

2)cheap or at the very least not expensive

3)they are not only available in the USA/Canada.

It would be better if they do not come in contact with the ears at all above all. Think AKG-1000 only like not 1000 euros price tag lol.

first that come to mind are the sony MDR-V6 - I have a pair, and relatively large ears, which just fit inside the cups, comes with Velour earpads that are easy enough to remove or replace

One thing I forgot to explicitly mention, they are going to be connected to a portable mp3 player and they are going to be used during physical exercise.

Thats gonna be a pretty tough ask, seeing as physical exercise seems to resent keeping headphones on your head...

I recently bought a pair of Altec Lansing UHP304, they're sold as 'moisture resistant' , i don't do exercise so i can't comment, but they don't sound too bad
but they will come into contact with your ears.
think any pair you buy will, one way or another tbh

why don't you just buy a pair of Senn px100 's , and 2 dozen replacement ear pads
great sound, washable pads, chuck the pads when they get too grotty

As I said before, there are such headphones already, but they are way too expensive (AKG-1000) and out of production so even if I ever manage to buy them I sure won't use them for exercise.

What I had in mind was a similar headset, only, way cheaper, lower than 100 euros.
Here is a photo of the AKG-K1000 just in case.

They dont sound terribly good, but they work underwater Aqua Shop FINIS SwiMP3, Swimming MP3, FINIS SwiMP3 v2 got some for my birthday, they work surprisingly well.

Im really not sure if any headset will be able to stay on your head during exercise...are we talking running or something like weights? If it's running I'm thinking it will have to be an in-ear set...

Thats a big ask "headphones that dont come in contact with your ears" i seriously doubt there are any out there BlueMak ... especially if its for exercise you would want hem to be secure not just dangling off the side of your head . Here is a good one but it goes inside your ear or the ER6i
