hey guys.... well apparently my razer copperhead which is now 3 years old is now finally dying off... resets itself

so now im wondering what is a good mouse for left handers? i want to give Razer a break

Install the setpoint drivers, and then a free applications call UberOptions.
uberOptions Wiki | Main / uberOptions

Uberoptions lets you make profiles for any application you want, and will automatically load them when you use that application. It also allows you to program buttons that Setpoint won't.

The Microsoft Sidewinder X3 is a 2000 dpi ambidextrous wired laser mouse.

It's just been released, so you may have trouble finding it...

I'm right handed, and use the mouse on the left side of the keyboard.

That way, I have the typing keys in the middle, with the mouse and numpad on either side.

If I have the mouse on the right hand side I have the numpad in the middle, which I use with my right hand anyway.

well.... as my replacement mouse is behaving the same way.... i can say that my motherboard is cooked then.....

the copperhead works perfectly fine on my laptop....

what you need to do is get yourself a powerball or a guitarists hand strengthener mate. I know it sounds dramatic, but the sooner you get that arm and hand/wrist stronger the better your life will be.

I am actually ambidextrous which I guess is rare, I can use the mouse with either hand and I write with both as well. I tend to write left handed however and use the mouse right handed when given the option (no, not at the same time

).

I play the guitar the standard right handed way however as restringing things when I was a kid was never something I wanted to deal with.

it is unfortunate that left handers are punished so much with hardware and other things in life, but my suggestion is to start getting that right side of your body more usable, will make your life much easier. Then I can recommend the Steelseries Ikari Laser mouse

Z is right on strengthening that hand I am right handed but because of years of guitar playing my left hand is far stronger than my right. I was going to suggest the same mouse but saw the left handed issue mentioned. The Ikari fits like a glove but just in the right hand

kris there wireless are good for gaming i use to use there logic 1000 for games and never had cutting out with it...

well, i finally got the SteelSeries Ikari Laser and SX Aluminum pad

its amazing, cant game with it yet as i have finals. this thing is so awesome, the glide is the best ive ever felt....

$110 bucks, this thing is quite the investment
