Thumbs Down! razer da

dont know what is up with this company, but my razer da is taking a dump-again. the one i have now is an rma that is less than 8 months old. the previous one almost made it a year.
anyway, the 2 left hand buttons stopped working all of a sudden, dont know what that is about but im sick of their crappy products(see my previous thread in this forum titaled 'keyboard prob"). not even going to bother contacting their support as it will end up being another 'u need to replace it' end result. & dont need to go through their silly shit to get there.
between the tarantula & the death adder i spent around $180 for a mouse that has been rma'd at least once(90% positive i had to do it when i first got it also) &a keyboard that barely made it 2 years with probs & lack of stated functionality along the way. just about any mouse & keyboard at much lower prices would outlast either of these products.
if i didnt have to pay shipping i would take a hammer to them both & send then to razer support. how the hell d othey stay in business?
prolly will do the hammer thing anyway, what a fkn waste of $$$.

i know you're just ranting off and all, but in terms of KB and mice, for me it's Logitech > MS > Razer

Re: razer da

none. cant really afford to replace either right now, but the mouse is a must so no choice.
what is even more iiritating is th6at each time the mouse has crapped out it has also messed with my win installation- i start having minor stability & overall perf issues. its always minor stuff, but it is annoying & usually takes me a week or so to iron out.
dont know y/how that happens but there is no doubt about it.

Re: razer da

going by dh review & your comments, im going with the steelseries ikari. sounds like it will be the perfect ticket for & will last more than a few months.
nobody in town carries it so will have to order online. then im going to see how hammer proof the pos da & tarantula are.
maybe i will see if i ca nconvince them to give me an rma on the mouse & ship em all the bits & pieces.
