Ram What Happens When

A friend put his ram in the wrong way and turned on this pc .what could this do to his pc.i don understand how he got it in place frist of all.

usually u can only insert them one round only due to notches in the board?

if it didnt burn out he should of got the blue screen at least!

He probably thought it was in all the way, but it really wasn't. Most likely a few of the gold connectors fried, the RAM stick is dead, as the DIMM slot won't work anymore.

Can only insert ram one way to my knowledge ...wonder how he got it installed.....lol

GUYS!!! I HAVE A SOLUTION!!! take out the RAM and put it in the RIGHT way... if it works then voila...
