System Specs

E6600 @ 3.6ghz, but memory?

Well.. I had nothing better to do this weekend, so I overclocked my cpu.

I got the E6600 at 3.6Ghz (400x9) @ 1.39v.
I haven't stress tested it though, but will do that later this weekend.

I am just having a little trouble with the memory. I got 8gb of mushkin memory, which did 900mhz and more with a fsb of under 400. But when I went for a 1:1 ratio, 400+fsb it wouldn't even get into windows. I had it at 2.1v and the NB at 1.4, but I don't really want to push it further..
I will leave it at just 800mhz and tighten the timings as far as possible. But what would the best approach be for this? as my understanding of timings is as big as an ant understands the world..

What do you guys advise with stress testing. Should I test the stability now, while the memory is pretty loose (5-5-5-15 instead of 4-4-4-12 which is stock) or first tighten the timings as uch as possible and then stress test?

this should be in Overclocking forum.. sorry
