I am completely clueless as to how this works. I used a s-video to RCA video convertor, and hooked it up from my ATI X1950PRO to my television. I'm using the latest Omega Drivers. My television used to show a clone display automatically when I used the Catalyst drivers, but with the Omega drivers, my television isn't showing anything. How do I get my television to work as a secondary/clone monitor?

The Omega drivers don't include the WDM for that in the set - I'm suspecting that's your problem and you'll need to get it from ATI for the version driver you're using.
The latest drivers Omegadrive has is the version 7.12 for XP and the WDM Integrated Driver is available HERE. The release notes for the WDM file say that it should be installed first before the video driver, but it might work being installed out of order...

No, just the WDM part, hopefully. You'll see when you click the link and go to ATI's site...

that has not done anything. my tv is recognized on the omega drivers display options, but it's not showing anything through the tv.
![]() the only way i can get it to detect the tv is if i go into there and click 'power on' where the tv is. even then, all it does is turn my monitor off, show a flickered display in b&w on the tv, then reverts back. |

Ah, ok - you've actually got it working, sort of...
The control panel will work with your existing monitor and your TV more easily in your case if the two displays are initially set to have close to the same horizontal resolution. So initially then, shut down the computer, turn off the TV, and unhook it from the video card. Turn on your computer then reduce the resolution on your primary display (the G90) down to 1024x768 using the control panel you've posted a picture of. Once that is set ok, shut down the computer then hook up your TV to the video card and turn it on - it is important to have the TV turned on before you boot the computer. Then turn on your computer and use your control panel to set up the TV display, and re-adjust the resolution on your G90 computer monitor.

i use the 1024 resolution as my standard on the monitor. i tried turning it on and hooking up the tv before i turned on the computer, but again, nothing shows up on the tv. it did flicker when the computer was starting up, but other than that, it's still just a blank screen. i think i'm just going to use the catalyst drivers. didn't realize omega drivers were such a pain when it came to this.
