The "nvidia 780i graphics corruption"-bug....

As some people know, and some people do not, the nforce 7 series brings a lot of misery to quite a lot of people .... and I chose to post here since it isnt exactly a "graphics card problem"..... I did not find any post on this forum about this bug, so I wanted to hear if any of the users here have had the same problems as I have (and a lot of others....).

The issue with the nforce 7 series, is that it causes either some graphical artifacts when you play videos (regardless of codecs and players...), or these artifacts and then a hardcrash. I have been reading forums up and down to find and relief of this problem to no avail, and nvidia has stated that they are "aware" of the problem and trying to fix it .....

So .. my posting this here is because I know a lot of people in good places used to frequent these boards, and might be able to give an inside scoop to whether there actually is a fix for this? And also to enligthen people who may have had the same problem and have had no luck googling their errors, I had to look for a while till I found the long list of people who had the same problems as me.

Before I start rambling - my two cents ... I hope nvidia fixes the problem :P

Guess I will just reply to my own topic ...

So if anyone ever gets this bug - according to nvidia they have released a fix for the issue now - and all thats left to do is wait for manufacturers to fit it to their products I guess....
