System Specs

Corsair 650tx

Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply

This looks to be a great deal on this guy over at newegg.

My only concern in the 24A on the 3.3V line? What exactly does the 3.3V power? I like a couple of hard drives, 4 would be the absolute max hooked up would this be OK?

LOL so im guessing the 5V powers the HDD's? so waht does the 3.3v provide power to? 650TX 3.3v rail @ 24A should do my system just fine?

I would've thought a PSU of that quality could power like 8 HDDs at once lol.
It definately munches through SLi and Tri/Quad-Fire systems, shouldn't be a problem for multi HDD systems

well i dont think its really made for more than 2 GPUs as it only has 2 pci-e 6+2 pin connectors.

If I'm not mistaken, the 3.3 line powers the memory and mainboard chips mainly, with some power going to the PCI cards too.
