Looking for a USB flash drive

hey boys and gals

I've just bought myself a nice Standalone upconverting dvd/dvix player with a USB slot on it and tried it out yesterday with a 4GG Kingston key... played great!

now, I'm looking for a new USB key...

Can anyone link what they think is the ultimate usb drive for speed/space
I don't need fingerprint this or encryption that... I just need space (16GB preferably) and speed (30+mb/sec read/write)

I've seen the OCZ Rally 2 8GB (39$) and the Corsair Flash Voyager 16GB (89$) and both have GREAT and BAD reviews...

Hook me up please !!

I absolutely love my Corsair Flash Voyager GT 4GB..... I only use it for readyboost, and the occasional BIOS flashing though and some other storage of things. But it works like a charm and is one of the fastest drives I have used.

Check out this review Grace did, it might be of some help

DH Review: 19 Flash Drive Roundup

The performance review of the drives are probably what you want to look at. The GT was not included, because at the time I believe Grace thought it was being discontinued, or could not get ahold of it.

EDIT: For comparison (its not same version of HDtune.... but check it out)

Thats my VoyagerGT, it has considerably better minimum transfer rates, and access times in comparison to the normal Flash Voyager.

Honestly, the best pen drive I've owned is an LG drive I picked up for next to nothing from a Sam's Club. I kid you not, the thing has been washed and dried 10+ times over the last couple years, and has never given me a problem. Like I said too, they are cheap. I can't speak for their speed, as it's not that important to me and I've never benched it for anything.
