30" Monitor?! [56k Warning]

I have noticed that Dell has announced a 30" monitor, and some people just thinking about use it for gaming:

Well personally I do think $1199 is too expensive for me, with that budget I can get a tv.

Dell has had out a 30" for ages quite some time now.. (2 years+?)

i've the dell 3007wfp... working on possibly getting the 3008wfp because i'd rather have this 30" UHD monitor then a 52+ inch 1080p tv... any day..... it's just so incredibly sharp...
