Beta version of vista is V1.04
Youp_Pax_Audigy_XFI_Vista4.rar - FileFront.com
I can called it Alpha mod because I don't know how driver works yet you can try it.
Don't worry I'm hoping next week I'm going get 3meg wireless connection speed guaranteed at 384kb anytime but with speed burst at 3megs at each download speed hehe

the memory doesnt matter, its the GPU core
the 8800GTX is more powerful and you said you can get it for 200 bucks....
the 3870 is also better and it costs less

I going change mine mind on that card about 8800 it has less steams on it. I'm going with one I pick out up on my thread. One I pick has better fan cooling on it.

what size display are you running Robert? I run my HD3850 on a 17" display and couldn't be happier, it ploughs through everything i throw at it, high settings with AA + AF at 1280x1024

the 8800 is at least TWICE as powerful as the 3870 man......
think about that, ATi stream procs arent as powerful as NV procs

I'm assuming you meant the 3850 here... not quite so much difference though, even then.
Approximate speeds:
3850: 100%
3870 = 9600 GT: 115%
8800 GTX/GTS G92: 140%

On my view sonic LCD HDTV I run 1440by900 works so far great on my x700pro. Should I take the 8800 GTX card then ATI? I just want double check. He said I can try it out later on once I get my parts.

lol i was thinking about the 9600 and how its roughly equivalent to the 3870
then how those 2 9600s in SLi barely beat an 8800, not always though.
lol

Basically Robert 1:1 GTX better. However, if you area interested in doing Xfire (2) 3870 are better. BTW, if you do decide to do Xfire I recommend the 750W Corsair.
