Phenom Triple Core
X-bit labs - AMD Begins to Ship Triple-Core Microprocessors to Personal Computer Makers.
I'm interested to see how these processors will be priced compared to intel quads and dual cores and also the performance of this compared to intel's dual cores if they can under cut intel's core 2 duo's while offering comparable performance, things look good for AMD but considering how AMD's quad core phenoms struggle against Intel's quads,i can only hope that it performs well |

pair a triple core phenom with a 780G chipset,it'll be able to play games a whole lot better than any intel setup with a G35(don't know how G45 will perform though)

I hope they will become inexpensive first and foremost. I feel like upgrading mostly for the sake of being able to use lots of cheap DDR2 and the quads are all too expensive.
