Probably a dumb question but i post as many of these as i can
Whats faster...PIII 1GHz or Celery 1.1? And i know the PIII is a lot more expensive
 any benches anywhere on this combo? Reason for asking, my mobo only supports CPUs as high as these. Thanks |

For gaming it will be the PIII due to its larger on-chip cache

1.1GHz Celerons are, as far as I know, Tualatin-based. You should be able to use faster (>1.3GHz chips) without a big problem.
If you're going for a Socket370 CPU, I would probably just go for the Celeron. Tualatin-based Celerons are not as dogawful as their predecessors, and, since this is going to be a temporary setup, I'd just go with the cheaper proc'. |

ya this mobo has to go sooner or later. so im gonna get the cheaper processor for now. i see thier selling some cool combos,might get one sometime. Thanks Guys
