It is the same model, Newegg is $700 below the MSRP though.
Can't find anywhere to buy it in Canada. edit: Ignore this post, Tipstaff knows what he's talking about below, as I obviously don't here.

i cannot see how newegg can manage to sell such a product 700 bucks below the MSRP.... that's royally insane...
and it probably doesn't pass FCC canadian guidelines .... like the IBM Deskstar drives back in the day... boy i'm glad i couldn't get one of those...

The model on Newegg is the GGC-H20L, which is an HD/BD reader, along with DVD/CD read/writing, but the the one you linked to, Judas, is the H10NI, which is an HD/BD/DVD/CD reader/writer.
In effect, this is a combo drive. |

Blast! I thought it was a combo set top player.
But still, for those who have their computer connected to their home entertainment center, it is a very good deal.

kinda what i was thinking.
i have been back & forth on that one as i have 2 tivos & a ps3(havent even used any of its media functions yet..), but being able t od oboth formats for that price in a way that gives me more control over how & what i can do with the media is very tempting...

good deal.
i'd need an equally good deal on a 36in to 42in. LCD HDTV to complete the package though .
