New System - Need ATI vid card ideas

Gentlemen, (and Grace )

I'm building a puter for #1 son and he's going to be needing a vid card. It will start with onboard graphics, and he will be have to get his own vid card.

I already have:

Asus M2NPV-VM Main board
AMD 3600+ X2 Brisbane
2x 512 Corsair memory
Sound, Hdd, CD/RW, ect from old system
All of this will be put into a Koolance PC2-C case, when the new CPU cooler arrives sometime this week.

He's not a 'serious gamer', but does spend some time on Second Life. I know that on this system (in specs) that SL seems to run 'good enough' for him, so I'm thinking that one of the X1xxx cards with X800 or better performance would be 'enough'. Given that info, what would you suggest in the X1xxx series for best Price/Performance.

Be advised...If you come in and suggest an Nvidia solution, I will, start a thread in the FWZ questioning your Intelligence, Ancestry, and Sexual proclivities

hackerx is on a distinguished road

right now the best ATI card in the price/performance zone is the x1950 pro.U can find good cards in the region of $200and less for 256mb cards and gr8er for 512mb cards.
Check here
AnandTech's RTPE. Catch Your Price.

If u cant spent $200 on the card.
U can find the x1650 xt for $130.(not x1650 pro, theres a big difference in performance)
