Anyone have a Thermaltake Aguila, or opinions on one?

Saw this case:

Aguila - VD1000SWA

Thought - wow - that's pretty cool. I like the silver and black contrast.

The drive cages look a bit odd, but the thing looks pretty trick too.

What think? Anyone who has one like it? Opinions on it?

It's really nice but then again Thermaltake have been banging that case out for about 2 years now with what appears to be a new front design on a regular basis.
All TT cases at the moment seem to be based on the Armor/kandalf, Armor junior or Soprano chassis but at the end of the day it works so why not. I've built the last 5 systems for myself and friends using thermaltake cases.

I've been thinking about purchasing two more cases. One to replace my Antec 1000 AMG, which is just flat out full with the addition of the Sapphire X1950 512 meg AGP card and a 500 gig SATA drive, and the other to replace a very similar case that came with my Alienware years back.

I was looking at the NZXT Lexa as my main rig replacement, but the design externally is a tad too deep for the space I have to fit it. I saw the NZXT Zero and I was pretty much hooked. Standard form factor, incredibly well done inside in terms of space allocation, and the door is mounted on the right, which makes more sense given where I have it (to my right on the floor)

Then I saw this Aguila - the Silver and Black one - and thought how cool it looked. Since the other machine is not as space critical (doesn't have as many drives and such a long video card, I thought it might be a nice looking unit to replace the old Chieftec Alienware one that looks very much like the Antec 1000 AMG, only no side window or front USB/Firewire ports.

I never really thought about changing cases on existing systems in these terms before. It would almost be a "fashion" update... lol...

It's kinda fun to play around like this with ideas.

The Zero is more conservative and has massive cooling, while the Aguila has pretty much standard cooling and a funky look to it.

Could be fun.

if its anything like my old Xaser III case, its gonna be heavy as hell, have tons of room inside, be pretty damn quiet, and run nice and cool.

My 24" iMac - well, that doesn't allow for much of any kind of customization. So, I figure what the heck - I can have a good time.

But, the iMac can run Parallels, which will let me load Windows and Linux into separate virtual machines.

So, at least I can tinker with the inside software stuff and have fun that way.

It's like when you go out and buy a Logitech MX518 optical mouse and a G5 laser mouse because you want to mess with cool stuff, even though you don't need to.

I've got PC Accessory fever, I guess! lol

As the Dark one says, if you buy a Thermaltake case spend a little extra on an aluminium one, I remember when it was empty I could suspend my TT Armor case from one finger. The steel ones are heavy.

I don't have it, I have the tsunami model. Still one advice I always give is to make sure you get a large enough case. I have a medium case with 1 dvd 2 HDDs 1 graphics and 1 sound card. Everything is so tight in there, with lots of cables that can't just be set to the side to make proper room for good airflow.
I implore you, get a Large case.
