/. has just posted a story about the laptop of choice for the US military in the Gulf. (All respects and honors to our men and women who are serving, you folks are the real heros not your equipment.)

This sucker looks SWEET! Nothing fancy; but it is waterproof, vapor-proof, and shock proof....which counts as a LOT for me!

I'm almost afraid to look at the price.......

A neat laptop, but the price blows. I guess it's a reasonable price, because the features are the main highlight of the item...
