great little tool, but it doesn't work on my s478 CPU. Does it not support s478 CPUs?

CDs, from what I've read so far, it's for Core 2 Duo CPUs and will only work on Intel Chipsets. If I come across anything to the contrary, I'll try to post a link.

so my intel p4 3.2e using the intel 875 chipset won't be compatible then? because i don't have an intel chipset i take it?

BS i think. It should work on any intel CPU that has the temperature sensor built into the the CPU's core. That would include what, all s478 CPUs and up right?

TAT Is only for Dual Core CPU's so only Core 2 Duo will work with this program. It was created to find the max thermals of the core2duo under a unreachable load by normal usage. Its used for building OEM systems and make sure your thermals are good.

CDs, like so many other things, TAT.exe was not meant for public use. It was/is an internal testing app that made its way onto certain sites. It has a specific purpose and does what it was designed to do.
