Draxis is on a distinguished road

I have an HT compliant mobo and plan on getting an HT-enabled processor as soon as they're cheaper, so I've at least done some homework on the subject. For all intents and purposes, HT is pretty much usless right now, unless you use your computer as a server or run workstation software like 3DSMAX or AutoCAD on it. That's because these are the only applications that can truly utilize dual processing power. About the only game I can think that can make use of HT is Quake III, but I'm not sure, there might be more. However, as time goes by we can only hope that future developers will optimize for dual processing, because running an HT optimized game with an HT processor will be sweet, trust me.

By the by, WindowsXP and some other OSes are also optimized for HT, though I don't think that affects game play.

damn it pressed enter, i mainly use it for games, music, porno . It wont really make a diff in fps lets say running at 1280x1024 with all details fsaa blah blah? like get a 20 fps increase or something. I think ill get it cause this rig is still functional, still love it. loads faster than a p4 1.4 ghz on bnet for wc3! too l33t!
