Damn Dom, everytime I load this page it seems like you are having yet another problem with your rig. The only thing that I can tell you to do... that MIGHT help... Is this:
0) uninstall all drivers, and resources showing in device mangler.
1) shut down the computer, unplug it, and bump the power button to completely purge the system.
2) remove the sound card, and reboot the system
3) place the sound card in PCI Slot # 3 (this is usually the best PCI slot to have a sound card in.)
4) reboot into BIOS, and clear nvram
5) reload windows, and reinstall drivers.

Nope, didn't work, thanks anyway.
I seem to have incredibly bad-luck with computers lately.

Try changing resource settings via your bios. Also, you may want to see if you have pnp OS enabled or something.

Hmm let me see . . . [Note: I am going by Win98 experience, but it may still apply]
As far as I know, the only resources a GamePort requires is an I/O range, so . . .
In Device Manager, look at the properties of the GamePort again, and look at the resources tab, and see what I/O range it's trying to use.
For example: "DC00-DC07" . . . write it down.
Now, go back in the Device Manager, and look at the properties of "Computer" (or what ever equivalent is at the root on XP systems.
On the View Resources tab, look at the list of Input/Output (I/O) values. Try to find a similar range near the one you wrote down earlier.
For example: "D B00-D B07" . . . this is what you'll try to change the GamePort to, so make note of it.
Now go back to the properties of the GamePort, the resources tab, and un-check the "Use automatic settings" box.
Hit the Change settings button, and enter the new range (eg. D B00-D B07.)
Save everything, reboot, and hopefully your computer doesn't explode
I think this should work . . . but maybe there won't be an I/O range there in the first place . . . .
Then you might want to look thru the list under Computer, and just find some empty space, and use that under the GamePort settings . . .
But I don't know how big a range you would enter, or if it would work, or heck even if my whole post even does anything
Good luck anyway

Dom you sure you turned off all the sound stuff on your board? There are 3 things you need to turn off.

If you look in the picture you see that there is the Santa Cruz Game Port & Standard Game Port, each have two I/O range options. I switched the Standard Game Port from the default range to the other and did the same to the Santa Cruz Game Port. w00t! Problem fixed! Thanks a lot Vamp!

Well, I ain't gonna give up my USB mouse, and my keyboard can't be switch to PS/2. I guess I'll just leave it as is, not causing any probles other than what its saying in device manager.

It will not cause any harm to your system or any adverse affects. I didn't notice any change when I switched keyboards. Yet I know it's annoying seeing that because it HAS to be perfect.
