lol nice site pimp in the sig, could you make it a little larger
the system has nice hardware in it, but its not really well balanced, SLI mobo, only 1 card, 4 gigs of ram - which wont all probably be supported in a 32 bit os anyway and the timings will be looser=less performance. also not really sure what 10 usb slots has to do with anything either
Anyway, yeah nice system, hope you enjoy it.

If you mean the number of sticks, no, not really. It should work fine with an Intel CPU, unlike AMD.
Very fine PC. I was a little surprised by the graphics card choice, as it is very modest considering all else (I was rather expecting at least 7900GTX or X1900XT) but if it works for you, then I'd say you've got an awesome system!

Na I also got 4 sticks of ram (though apparently its slower than 2 sticks) but 4 gig is useless since all current OSs cept 64 bit ones don't access more than two gigs... And really, thats just overkill imho
The system is nice but could be WAY better for that price

Got me there!
Though it'll probably pay off when Vista comes out!
I wonder why the boundary is at 2GB, when 2^32 is 4G?!

Don't ask me
And if it's helpful for vista, then his vid card will let him down since it's not DX10 (and cpu since it's weak... )

No harddrives? There should be two SATAII 16mb cache drives for a comp like that. 7800GTX 256mb isn't that powerful either it would be much wiser to get a 7950GX2 and not spend money on SLI. Then sell it in a year and get a DX10 card. SLI is fine if you do it right now but down the road you will get less out of it cause a single card will beat your SLI configuration.

WOOPS, I forgot about hard drives. I have 2 Wester Digital 250GB hard drives.
Oh in response with the previous person talking about the 7800gtx:
I got the 7800gtx because the 7900 wasnt out yet.

Good reason Your definately going to get many opinions but mine would be sell 2gb and the 7800 and get a 7950gx2

Nice system you got there, but 7800 and 7950GX2 is a bit disapointing. I rather get X1900XT 512mb Crossfire, my friend have it on his 4400+ and I love it *drool*

7950gx2 with a slight OC can get you similar performance to 2 x1900xt's at almost half the price.

I don't have any complaints really. It's a nice system; I don't see many programs getting the best of it

But per CPU, you can only use 2 gig from what I've read... Meh I'm no expert

Wrong! Regular 32Bit Windows Xp/Media Center can hold 3.25 gigs of ram. 32Bit/64Bit Vista can hold 4+

Click here for way too much info!
As for the computer, seems pretty nice. Only thing I'd wonder is if the monitor is an LCD TV being used as a monitor (1366 x 768), then I'd rather have a proper PC monitor.

i'm a bit off topic but you were mentioning about vista anyway. just want to ask what is the best setup for pc that can handle vista, not the high end but enough to handle vista.
thanks.
