yea....run your memory under a stress test.
use MemTest86 to run your memory. the longer it's run, the better the results will be. i suggest you run the test overnight while you sleep, unless you don't mind waiting for several hours. basically, any fail will be shown in red.
to get the test, you just have to burn those files onto a CD and make sure it's bootable.

it's not going to be your gfx card. and did you run MemTest86, or a cheap knock-off version of it?
and why go back and down-grade? it's not about luck, in cases like yours, you have to go through all the steps to determine what could be the issue w/your rig, and from what you've told us, it still appears to be the memory.
if we are wrong and it's not the memory, it could be the processor. try prime95 for that. again, run it overnight for best results. the benefit of prime95 is that it tests both your memory and CPU simeltaneously.
we say it's not your gfx card because the symptoms that you are telling us of what happens, is not what would happen if the gfx card were the problem.
now, out of curiosity, what kind of PSU do you have, how many watts does it put out, and how many amps on the 12v rail does it put out?

Greetings!
I see where others have given some things to try. Let me add a few more to the options you have.
If I understand the situation correctly, you have just recently put together this system, right?
If so, there are some things you need to do in order to make sure all the drivers are up-to-date.
1. Check the WEBsite for the motherboard. Get any new BIOS and motherboard drivers listed there. Once you get those, be sure to update the motherboard so that all the drivers are current.
2. Check in the BIOS for the Memory Timings. While you may not be overclocking, you might still be stressing the memory too much. Set things to 'standard' or whatever designation your BIOS gives you. Some will have things like TURBO, STREET RACER, etc. Also, while in that area, check for the LATENCY settings for the memory. If you can locate what they should be....per the label on the memory sticks and/or per the manufacturer's WEBsite, make sure the settings match your particular sticks of memory. It's easy to overlook this particular setting and some motherboards may not do a good job of selecting the proper defaults.
3. Make sure the CPU clock speed is correctly set.
4. If your video card has a separate power connection, use a solo power cable from your PSU and don't use one from a Ysplitter. If you're using a Y-splitter, it's quite possible that the video card isn't getting all the power it needs when whatever else is connected on that Y-splitter needs power.
5. Don't give up too soon. It's too early to say that the hardware is bad.
AND, good luck!
