help please
i just installed a new PSU (antec sp 2.0 500w) and a new video card. ever sence then my CPU usage in my task manager has been reading 75%+, i even toke out the video card, and reformatted my windows but i still have the problem.

btw, i have a compaq sr1830nx, i downloaded a taskinfo program and it says "interrupts time placeholder" is whats taking up all my CPU usage.

i read that but im still not sure what to do, but when i go in my device manager and under "Computer" it says ACPI Multiprocessor PC" while my processor is a single processor amd 64.
can this be the problem? |
