River is on a distinguished road

mouse / mice

i have a logitech cordless mouse, standard issue with the dell dimension, and have no problems with it's operation, but damn, the thing eats batteries for breakfast!

two new AA last maybe a month, is this normal run time for a set of batteries for a mouse?

only thing i can think of doing is to pop the batteries out each evening when i shut down, and seriously looking at a new mouse, with recharge ability for the unit.

One of the reasons I am sticking to wired mice

If you are using the mouse often, it is normal to eat 2 batteries a month, but if you don't, then there must be a real problem. I would say there must be a short circuit. Can you rma your mouse?
