a8n-e fsb setting

I'm trying to overclock my AMD 3500 64 Winchester in my A8N-E board.

I downloaded the tool from Asus, their AI overclock thing, and got the FSB up to about 220, for about 2 hours everything was fine.. then a few apps started crashing and sounds failing. I went back to the Asus tool to reduce the FSB but it just crashes my PC whenever i try to alter it.

It is now set in my bios for FSB 220, so i thought i'd unistall the tool, go into BIOS and turn it down in increments manually.

Problem is that i cannot find where to alter the FSB in the bios! Under the advanced menu there is CPU configuration, but when i go in, it just tells me in greyed out writing that i have a 3500 running at 2420 Mhz.. i cannot alter the FSB back down, with the result, that I have a really unstable PC at the moment.

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks

found the answer.

The Bios FSb is under /advanced/jumperfree configuration. You have to set Profile to manual to change it.
