Well,I figured out how to get around it.There's an option in "ASUS Update" that lets U "install the new BIOS form a file".So I downloaded the new BIOS to my desktop. Then chose the option to "update from a file on the desktop".And it sucked it right up.

I've always had that problem with that utility. I just update from a file, and problem solved (you can also do the traditional method of updating from a boot disk). Also, make sure you have the latest version of the software, as it has been updated recently (last month or so).

Yea,ASUS updates that program all the time.Seems like every time I update a BIOS the "ASUS Update" program has to be updated too.....GEEZ....Thats alot of updating!!

I just click on the "Auto Select" button and the program chooses the website that has the least ammount of traffic. Then it picks it right up.....In theory anyway.
